Abstract

What criticism should we make of the act of intellectus practicus in the moral philosophy of Thomas Aquinas? In this article, we intend to analyze the relationship that exists between the question of evil and the act proper to practical intellect. That is: we will understand the importance of knowing the good of the entity in order not to want the evil of the entity. Firstly, we will define what good is, guiding ourserves from the works Questiones Disputae De veritate and Summa Contra Gentiles; then, we will present what evil is, based on the reflections exposed by Thomas in the work Questiones disputatae de malo;
